The homeowner needed a complete overhaul of their 70- square-metre driveway, which required careful handling of multiple manholes and drainage issues. We delivered a sleek, cohesive surface that looks stunning and functions perfectly.
The site presented a logistical challenge common to many driveways: multiple utility access points. With five manholes scattered across the 70sqm area, a standard paving job risked looking cluttered and disjointed. Additionally, the driveway required upgraded drainage to ensure adequate water runoff and protect the property.
To unify the space, the client chose a Steel Grey colour hardener imprinted with the classic Ashlar pattern. This design mimics the structured look of cut stone, bringing a clean, modern order to the driveway.

The transformation is seamless. What could have been a driveway cluttered with metal covers is now a continuous, elegant expanse of Steel Grey paving. The Ashlar pattern flows uninterrupted across the 70sqm area, including over the hidden manholes.
After the concrete cured for 24 hours, we jet-washed the surface, cut expansion joints, and applied our durable anti-slip sealant. The homeowner now has a robust, weed-free driveway where practical necessities like drainage and access points are expertly hidden within a high-end design.
